Aluminium Cast Heaters are made of tubular type heating coil embedded with Aluminium-Alloy by the forming process. It’s life and performance depends on design of tubular heating elements such as its Geometry/ Structure, Quality of raw material, Stress of heating element, Selection of Aluminum Grade, Casting process, Purity of raw material and Machining process.
Cast Band Heater is the toughest band heater available. This cast band heater can withstand shock and vibration or contamination. They are made with or without liquid and/or air cooling. Liquid cooling incorporates tubing cast in as part of the heater assembly, allowing water or heat transfer solutions to remove the heat. Air cooling uses fins cast to the O. D. surface of the band heater. Blowers and specially designed shrouds aid in heat removal.
Cast Band Heaters can be made as Heat Only, Cool Only, or Heat/Cool. Tubular Heaters are cast inside the heater aluminum or bronze body. This provides excellent heat transfer. The inside diameter is machined to a precise dimension for a tight fit onto extruder barrels, transfer lines, and pipes.
